Katrina Spooner, MHSA, CMC
Chief Administrative Officer
Katrina is the Chief Administrative Officer which involves overseeing the day to day operations of the agency. She came to The Arc in 2015 from Orlando, Florida, where she served Veterans and elders nationwide for over eight years as a Veterans Affairs Accredited Claims Agent. She is a Licensed Health Risk Manager, Certified Care Manager, and a graduate of University of Central Florida with a Master's Degree in Health Services Administration. She is a Board Member for Career Women's Network of Macon and is also a member of The Junior League. She enjoys spending her free time painting and participating in art shows.
Katrina's passion for her advocacy work grew out of personal experience. As the granddaughter of a Director Emeritus for The Arc of Baltimore, Katrina has always appreciated advocacy work for those in need. She is very excited to be a member of The Arc Macon on their continual journey toward turning developmental disabilities into possibilities.
Andy Harrel, LCSW
Andy has lived his entire life in the Middle Georgia area and graduated from Mercer University in 1994 with a BA degree in Sociology and Christianity. He attended Valdosta State University and graduated with a Master’s degree in Social Work in 2002. He is a state Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. He is an active member and Deacon at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Bolingbroke, Georgia. He enjoys participating in sporting activities and spending time with his wife and children.
At The Arc of Macon, Andy serves as a consultant to the agency. Andy is the immediate past Chief Administrative Officer and has served in multiple positions since joining the agency in 1995. He was the honored recipient of the Employee of the Year in 2006.
Carina Styles currently serves as Clinical Director for the Arc of Macon. She has worked with Individuals with Developmental Disabilities since 2002 and has held many different positions. She joined The Arc of Macon in 2012.
Carina came to Macon, GA from Lakeland, Florida. She attended Tennessee State University where she received a BA in Education. She later went on to Albany State University where she received her first Master's Degree in Education. She continued on with her education and received a second Master's in Criminal Justice.
She is an active member of African American Women on the Move organization. She enjoys participating in school and sporting activities with her daughter. Carina also teaches youth Sunday school at New Hope Baptist Church in Henderson, GA.
Chief Financial Officer
Growing up in a Military family, Bill has lived in Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Germany prior to his father's retirement in Georgia. He has been an active member of Mabel White Baptist Church in Macon and enjoys being a part of an outreach ministry, which allows him to visit a state prison a few times a month to provide a weekly church service and bible study.
Bill is an alumna of Georgia College in Milledgeville, with a BBA in Accounting. Bill and his wife, Sheila have lived in Macon for more than 20 years. They have a son, Matthew, who attends Tattnail Square Academy and is a member of the baseball and football teams. Bill is quite the sports enthusiast and was even an All-American baseball player in college. He enjoys reading, spending time with family, and going on family cruises.
At The Arc, Bill is responsible for all financial aspects of the Arc. This includes managing accounts payable, billing for provided services, developing the budget, processing payroll, and working with auditors. Bill has been with the Arc since 2016.
Robin handles all aspects of Bookkeeping, following the direction set by the CFO. Robin joined the Arc in 2016. Robin has been a Macon resident her entire life. She is a graduate from Southwest High School and brings 15 years of bookkeeping experience from the work force with her to this position. In her spare time, Robin enjoys spending time with family and friends; going to the movies and shopping.
Human Resources Director
Barbara is a Macon native now residing in Monroe County with her husband and daughter. She retired from Sysco Atlanta in 2011 after 25 years. Barbara enjoys spending time with her family, reading, arts & crafts, football, and Mexican food.
Barbara is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources, as well as managing our many housing programs with HUD. Barbara joined the Arc in August 2011.
Nancy was born in Macon and raised in Pinellas Park, FL. She enjoys visiting her family and taking road trips with her beloved husband, Anthon. Nancy and Anthon have been married 15 years, have four children, and five grandchildren. Nancy loves the outdoors, so you will often find her perfecting her garden and enjoying the pool in her free time.
Nancy started with The Arc as a part-time staff in 1988 and worked her way up to management in the home. She has worked in many positions here at The Arc. She briefly left to pursue an entrepreneurial venture, but came back to The Arc to continue with her passion for the individuals we serve.
Director - Bleckly County Services
Beverly was born and raised in Cochran. She graduated from Cochran High and attended Middle Georgia College. She met and married the love of her life, Larry. Larry and Beverly moved to Florida where Beverly attended Irwin College and pursued a medical career. Beverly was a scrub tech for private surgeons for 15 years. After living in the Tampa area for 26 years, she moved back to Cochran to be close to her family. Beverly and Larry have been married 31 years, have two grown sons, and one special granddaughter. Beverly is a member of New Life Church of God and is an avid animal lover and has adopted many animals over the years.
Beverly is the Director of Day Services for the ARC in Cochran. She is in charge of the day to day running of the Center, Day Support, Supported Employment, and Individual and Group Outings. Beverly has been employed with the ARC since July 2010.
Assistant Director, Bleckley County Service
Eileen was born in Savannah, Ga. She has lived most of her adult life in Macon with her daughter, Keiawana. She graduated from Northeast High School and furthered her education at Central Georgia Technical College. Eileen is a member of St. Mark Baptist Church where she is an active member of the choir.
Eileen began her employment with the ARC in 1986. She has worked in many capacities over the years as a dedicated employee. The latest is serving as Assistant Director for the ARC in Cochran. Eileen was awarded employee of the year in 2007. She is also the instructor for the Defensive Driving, CPR, and First Aid classes. She is a graduate of the Direct Support Professional Program and enjoys fishing, traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
